By rotating the gear built into the Sleeve with the rack gear, the amount of Brush projection can be automated in the machine. Install the rack inside the machine, and program the Sleeve to go through the rack gear after every time a specified quantity of the workpiece is processed. The Brush protrudes 0.05mm per the rack gear tooth. Up to 1mm of the Brush protrusion length adjustment is possible in one pass.
The machine tool needs to have the capability to stop and hold the Sleeve at a precise position. Also, you need a space within the machine tool to install the rack.
